For whom

Who this course is for

Not one niche: a foundation for creators, experts, business owners and anyone who wants to use YouTube on purpose.

YouTube Basics is for four groups: I want to start but don't know how; I've tried already but there's no growth; expert or freelancer needs an audience; business needs customers.

This course isn't about one specific niche. It's a foundation for creators, experts, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to start working with YouTube seriously.

  • I want to start but don't know where to begin

You have a topic, but no clarity on the channel set-up, the videos to make and the right start.

  • I've tried, but there are almost no results

Videos went out, the views didn't come, and you want to know what is holding the channel back.

  • I'm an expert, specialist or freelancer

You want an audience and a personal brand on YouTube, not just another place to post.

  • I have my own business

You need YouTube for trust, leads and long-term promotion that stays under your control.

  • I want an extra source of income

You see a channel as an asset that can bring monetization, customers and new opportunities over time.

  • I'm tired of dubious courses

No fast-money promises, no fear and no secret algorithms: a clear base for your own decisions.

Outcome

What you'll be able to do after the course

A foundation that saves you months of trial and error, instead of advice mixed with outdated tips and miracle methods.

  • Explain how YouTube finds viewers

Which signals the platform takes into account, and which ones a creator can actually control.

  • Start without expensive mistakes

A tested sequence of steps, and which popular methods break down and why.

  • Run a production routine

Niche, formats, filming, editing, packaging and AI tools joined into one clear process.

  • Read your analytics

Find your channel's signals, test ideas and choose the next step from data.

  • Know the way to monetization

What the YouTube Partner Program needs, what AdSense is, and why money doesn't simply appear after an upload.

  • Leave with a working channel plan

The practical steps help you launch a channel or rebuild one: a direction, first videos and a plan for the next ones.

YouTube Studio channel analytics: "Your channel has gotten 10,587,635 views so far" — 10.6M views, 540.7K watch time hours, +119.2K subscribers, €13,222.29 estimated revenue.

Approach

Honest, practical, and within the platform's rules

  • We earn on YouTube ourselves

We share our commercial experience for free. YouTube can become a source of income, but it's work — not a one-off attempt to upload a couple of videos.

  • You learn by doing

Each lesson ends with short steps for your own channel, so you finish with a channel plan you keep using.

  • No shady tricks

We adapt formats that work, but never build growth on fake engagement, bought activity or misleading viewers.

Tools

Tools aren't for show — they're for saving time

YouTube is regular work. Tools help you prepare ideas, descriptions, thumbnails, subtitles, translations, analytics, and uploads faster. In the course we'll take a separate look at YouTube Studio, AI tools, templates, and services we use ourselves.

Program

From a channel idea to monetization on YouTube

This is a course by practicing creators — not theory and not a secret "Money" button. We show a system in which views and income come from working with the viewer, content quality, analytics, and the platform's rules.

Five stages, from choosing a direction to turning on the monetization methods that fit you. Each lesson ends with something to do on your own channel. The result depends on the quality of your videos, the consistency of your work and following YouTube's rules: the course gives you the route, the tools and the criteria to improve every next release.

Before lesson 1

Five minutes to find your starting point

You don't need a studio. Write down what you already have — a phone or computer, a microphone, light, software — and the time you can really give to videos. Then answer these five questions.

  1. Where and how will you film?

A desk at home, the kitchen, a workshop, the street, travel, screen recording or gameplay. Pick a place where you can film regularly.

  2. What won't you get tired of?

What do you love and can talk about for a long time: cooking, games, repairs, crafts, teaching, travel, your profession? These are your first channel candidates.

  3. Who exactly are you filming for?

Not an abstract "target audience": one real person, their task, what they already know and where they live.

  4. How will your first video go?

What hooks the viewer at the start, what you show, which result you lead to, and how you end.

  5. Save your answers

This is your starting brief. Lessons 1 to 12 refine it step by step into a direction, a format and a plan.

Up to date

The course is based on YouTube's official rules and hands-on experience

YouTube's rules change. That's why the course relies on an up-to-date foundation: YouTube Creators, YouTube Help, the YouTube Partner Program requirements, monetization rules, and the platform's policies.

If you take the course later, always check the monetization numbers and rules against YouTube's official pages. It's a normal habit for a creator who wants to grow a channel for the long run.
